This post is all about bringing some fun poses to your fitness photoshoot. I’ve had the pleasure of working with this wonderful woman before and she always brings such a strong and confident vibe to her images. One studio light and a white wall helped bring the interesting shadows and strong contrast. We had fun with the poses and so can you!
The heel grab is a simple fun fitness pose but looks very different on different body types. Regardless, it’s a great way to show off your quads and glutes! And a killer pair of shoes, of course.
Then we did some work with chairs to help really bend her body into exciting poses. We wanted to keep the look fitness and sporty, and she really could bend! We started with a metal chair but that was super uncomfortable so we switched it up to my (padded) desk chair. This next image was a test shot but I love it so I’m posting it. I love outtakes and “in-between” shots.
This next image is really popular in the boudoir world but I love it with the sneakers! Gives it a sporty vibe! How about you? Would you do this pose?
This last fun fitness pose with the leg warmers was something I had in mind for a long time and she killed it! She’s not actually siting on the window sill so yes, this was quite a good leg workout. FYI – your photoshoot will also be your workout for the day.
We finished up her fitness photoshoot with some beauty images. Obvs I had to feature her shoulders. Remember, fitness photography can be whatever you want it to be.
