This is not the first time that I’ve had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful, leggy blond!  For this shoot, Shannon and I had an idea for a high fashion inspired makeup and we knew that M was the perfect lady to rock it.

While you are certainly allowed to look at your makeup while it’s being done, generally you get to chatting and just having fun that you don’t really get to see it until it’s almost finished.  What a fun surprise, right? As you can see by M’s expression below, she was pleasantly surprised by the transformation!

See those jars filled with candy? Now they’re filled with walnuts. Healthy eating, you don’t taste nearly as good as s’mores candy corn.

As usual, Shannon did an amazing job with makeup and hair. First she created a smokey charcoal eye to enhance M’s big beautiful eyes.  She then topped the look off with a nude lip and just a touch of color on the cheek.  Big pin curls were released and teased into long waves to finish off the look.

My studio has a wall of windows with the most beautiful light so I set M right in front of it and let the light do all the work. I didn’t even use any studio lighting for these images. Just a beautiful lady with some beautiful light.

I’d say M worked these shots pretty good, wouldn’t you?!  Look at that face!  Shannon’s in mid-touch up and M’s still giving me Vogue-esque faces.  You’ll notice that most of these images were taken with just a simple pretty bra + panty set.  Sometimes that is all you need!

Boudoir photography is not about the lingerie and outfits (although those certainly are awesome!). It’s about YOU.  I mean, check out this image of M wearing the blanket she lovingly referred to as “the Animal.” See? Still gorgeous.

After the initial set of images were captured Shannon changed M’s lip color up to something a bit brighter!  I’d love to tell you what color that is but apparently it’s a mix of a few different colors!  Isn’t it amazing?! M changed into a gorgeous black lace bra and we draped her in some jewelry from the studio wardrobe & jewelry collection and viola! she went all Vogue on me again.

For the record, if you come into my studio with something silky and colorful you will most likely be wearing it during your shoot. And by “most likely” I mean you will.  This outfit… I’m obsessed:

This final image M is wearing a little (blue) dress and stiletto booties from my studio wardrobe collection. I love it because M is laughing and she has a really great laugh.  She’d bang out a high-fashion pose and then burst out laughing a minute later.  I know when shooting with her I will be laughing and having a great time.

Thank you M for allowing me to photograph you and bring such a great, fun vibe with you.  Your images are amazing and I hope you love them as much as I do! xoxoxo
